In a study published in Nature, researchers identify novel classes of breast stem cells that ensure the development and expansion of the different cell lineages of the mammary gland during pregnancy. The mammary gland expands considerably during puberty and pregnancy during which it differentiated into milk-producing cells. Two different cell types formed the mammary gland: the myoepithelial cells and luminal cells. Both luminal and myoepithelial lineages contain long lived unipotent stem cells which present extensive renewing capacities and ensure the development and the maintenance of the mammary gland throughout life.

In it, Claudio touches on many important themes: human rights, reproductive justice, body image and media, class, race, heterosexism, the environment, corporate greed, and more. There is much to consider in this piece.

As a 29 year old feminist in Turkey, It is hard to label myself as one. Many unfair questions are posed to us when we identify ourselves as feminists. We are a small group in Turkey, and though we have been subjected to social prejudices, our numbers are slowly but steadily growing. There is an endemic lack of understanding of the issues pertaining to feminism in Turkey. Only specific issues with regards to women are addressed, while other equally important issues are left out. I decided to write the “Bedenlerimiz Biziz” the Turkish version of “Our Bodies, Ourselves” with a group of women. The purpose was to create awareness on feminism and bringing up theses important issues facing women in Turkey today. The project will complete by the end of 2011, and I believe this book will revitalise the feminist movement in Turkey and around the world.

BPA, a human-made chemical produced and marketed largely for specific industrial purposes, is detected in body fluids of more than 90 percent of the human population. It was originally synthesized as an estrogenic compound and there has been concern that exposure to BPA could have developmental effects on various hormone-responsive organs including the mammary gland

DNA testing is used by many different people for a whole host of different reasons. Many distinct DNA tests are available that meet the needs of different research purposes.

Perhaps the most well known and frequently used need for DNA testing is to establish a genetic link between people. By testing DNA you can discover if the people are related through blood lines. This is particularly important in cases of inheritance claims, relationship cases where infidelity is suspected, and Social Security claims as well as immigration issues.

You can test for maternity and paternity. You can also test to see if a person is the biological grandparent of the child, or if two or more people share the same parents. All of these tests can also be very important in terms of finding out about health issues and shared risk of genetic conditions. Buy a Visitors Health Insurance

DNA testing means you can go further into your family relationships than you can with paper records, which may be false or limited in their scope. You can learn a lot about your ancestors and your relatives. By comparing your DNA with the DNA of other people you can determine familiar relationships that can help you solve a number of problems or curiosities.
